TCR Australia went racing at Mount Panorama, Bathurst this weekend.
Aaron Cameron had a great weekend. He took out the Astrontech Pole Position award for the Valvoline Team GRM in his Peugeot 308. Aaron dominated Saturday going on to take Race 1 and also Race 3 on Sunday.
Rookie Bailey Sweeny in the HMO Customer Racing Hyundai i30N won Race 2.
Tony D’Alberto remains leader in the series overall with Will Brown second.
The next TCR meeting will be Sydney Motorsport Park Eastern Creek, Bathurst on May 27 -29.
AstronTech helped out the Star Light Children’s Foundation by raffling off Hot Laps in a Twin Turbo Lamborghini as part of the World Time Attack meeting at Sydney Motor Sport Park on April 1 and 2.
Professional Driver – Warren Luff did the honors of piloting the lucky winners on Friday and Saturday night for some very fast action around Sydney Motorsport Park full circuit.
The Star Light and AstronTech Lamborghini also won the Flying 500 top speed challenge at 0-288km per hour over a 500 meter stretch on the main straight at Sydney Motor Sport Park setting a new record for the event.
Astron Technology congratulates John Bowe on taking out the 2021 Touring Car Masters Championship.
Astron Technology has supported John, a true legend of Australian Motorsport, for many years and we were proud to have our logo on the Bowe Holden Torana SL/R again this year.
John put in yet another strong performance in all 3 races at Bathurst with 2 thirds and a second place. This comfortably made John the 2021 Touring Car Masters Champion. He has now taken the title six times in a feat that is unlikely to ever be matched.
